Chili |
1 lb ground beef
1 medium onion, chopped
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 can (28 oz) crushed tomatoes
1 can (28 oz) whole peeled tomatoes
1 can (15 oz) diced tomatoes
1 can (15 oz) tomato sauce
2 chicken bouillon cubes, crushed
1/4 cup chili powder
2 T sugar
2 T dried oregano
1 T dried basil
2 tsp white pepper
1 can (15 oz) kidney beans, drained
1 can (15 oz) cannelloni beans, drained
Saute ground beef, onion and garlic over medium-high heat. Add to crockpot. Add crushed tomatoes, pealed tomatoes (smash with fingers), diced tomatoes, tomato sauce and bouillon cubes to crockpot. Add spices. Cook on high for 4-6 hours or low for 6-8 hours. Add beans in the last 30 minutes to hour of cooking. Serve with a good crusty bread or saltine crackers.
